Executive Director-Administration
Executive Director plans, directs, coordinates, implements and monitors activities of the FSIP organization to insure compliance with policies, directives, goals and objectives set by the Governing Board and funding agencies. Provides overall direction in all phases of organizational planning, personnel management, fiscal control, program operations, staff supervision and program evaluations.
Keeps Chairman and/or the Governing Board informed of operations and progress on a regular basis. Leads the organization in developing new and innovative services to achieve the Mission and Vision through opportunities for new business development, new revenue development strategies and new partnerships/collaborations. 


QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters Degree in Public Administration, business administration and Public Health Administration, or related field with 5 years Senior Executive level management and supervisory experience in Non-profit industry. 
Strong writing and speaker skills. Knowledge of federal grants and contracts. 

 

Contract and Grant Specialist-Administration
Under general supervision of Fiscal Officer, monitors the financial and budget activities of all program contracts and grants through the maintenance and control of financial records. Prepares and monitors program budgets for grants, contracts and other types of sponsored accounts, assisting with reports relating to project activities, revenue tracking revenues and expenditures for all such accounts. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field plus a combination of three years professional accounting and grants, contract management experience. 

Warehouse Manager-Food Distribution Program
Responsible for overall warehouse functions to include incoming shipments of USDA commodity foods, inventory control of all foods, food shipments and tailgate distribution schedules. Responsible for basic supervision of warehouse staff. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years warehouse and truck experience.
Must be able to operate a variety of warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. Must be able to train new employees on safety and operation of a variety of warehouse equipment and be knowledgeable of modern warehousing and supervision practices.
You will be making a difference for the Pueblo communities we serve by providing food orders to their Pueblos or home deliveries. Must have some knowledge of computer system. Truck driving experience. 
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable through the Organizations' insurance carrier. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation, including motor vehicle record check.  

 

Warehouse Aide -Food Distribution Program
Assists in receipt of USDA commodities shipments to assure that the truck is inspected and unloaded within the specified time frame. Responsible for re-stocking of USDA food in the store area and delivery truck. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent with good communication skills and ability to deal with the public on a daily basis. 
Must be able to operate a variety of warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and delivery truck. 
Must have a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation.

Health & Nutrition Manager-Head Start
Health and Nutrition Manager is responsible for planning and administering program services for Head Start Children and families. Services must be coordinated with staff in other program content areas and must include ongoing assessment of the quality of services provided. 
QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to work as a positive team member. Ability to effectively communicate with community members and groups, staff, managers and families both individually and in group settings. 
Education requirements:  BA or advanced degree in health, nutrition, family services, psychology, sociology or related field. Two years relevant experience in social services, family services or related field. 

 

Education and Disabilities Coordinator-Head Start
Education and Disabilities Coordinator is responsible for planning and administering program services for children and families. Services must be coordinated with staff in other program content areas and must include ongoing assessment of the quality of services provided. Must be able to effectively communicate with members, groups, staff members and families both individually and in group settings. 
QUALIFICATIONS:

BA or advanced degree in early childhood education; or BA or advanced degree and coursework equivalent to a major related to early childhood education. 3 Years experience in early childhood education and/or instructional support. Previous experience with Head Start.
